Description: Construction included two miles of new, 230kV transmission line, steel monopoles on concrete piers (upwards of 8’ drilled shafts), and single circuit (795 AAC) and double circuit (1590 AAC) wiring. The new transmission line connects to the 137 megawatt (MW) Springbok Solar project. Environmental preservation methods were utilized to avoid disruption to local desert tortoise and kit fox habitats.
