Desert Harvest and Almasol Substations ^Substation

This large project consisted of two 230kV collector substations with 24 feeder bays and six 34.5/230 kV transformers.  Civil and electrical scope completed internally by High Country. 

The work was especially challenging because the line crosses Interstate 10 at one point and runs through Bureau of Land Management (BLM) property, requiring strict adherence to regulations for electric power line construction and wildlife.
