High Country crews completed the Sloan Canyon Switchyard and Transmission Line, which involved installing 72 miles of optical ground wire (OPGW) between Pahrump and Boulder City. High Country’s scope included civil work, foundations, switchyard electrical, overhead, and underground fiber optic, and transmission line construction using helicopters.
